By making a tax-deductible contribution of $25 or more to Vulcan’s Adopt-a-School Fund, you will help improve the educational experience for children in one or more of the many adopted schools Vulcan is currently partnering with around the U.S. 

As a token of our appreciation, you will receive a copy of Vulcan’s newly published book, A History Written in Stone, which charts Vulcan's progress from its beginnings as the Birmingham Slag Company to its recent acquisition of Florida Rock Industries. The book also profiles the families, leaders and major infrastructure projects that have made Vulcan one of the most successful and enduring industrial companies in the nation. 

Your contribution will be deposited into the Vulcan Materials Adopt-A-School Fund, which is managed by the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.  The Community Foundation will distribute all donated funds to Vulcan’s adopted schools.
